Besides all that, I have the final part of my GED test Saturday. So I am so glad to get that out of the way! I am hoping to start school the following semester.
PLUS, I have been having some much needed girl time with my friends. I just found out my girl has a bad coke habit, and her husband is threatening to leave her! She has two kids, too. I don't know what she's thinking! But at the moment everything has cooled down and is fine... I hope.

I've experienced them down south (Jacksonville, FL) and up north (NH).

Yup... I lived in Florida in 1978 and 1979. Hurricane David... I remember it being the first one with a male name... I also remember oranges from our trees being *everywhere*... No damage to our home, other than a fence that got taken out by a neighbor's tree from three doors down...

Katrina.
I rode out the storm and stayed in the city for eight days after the storm.
I didn't lose any property, but it wasn't fun.
Things got a bit zany.
All I gotta say...

OMG! THERE IS A TORNADO TOUCHING DOWN IN BHAM!
And I have been through Hurricane Katrina! Alabama got a lot off of Katrina. But I still hate them! I am REALLY scared!
