Will it take off?

Obviously not this literally... but an actual sized plane, on a huge conveyor belt running at whatever arbitrary speed would be necessary for take off.

*smells that there is math in all of this*
Not a clue...but can we paint the plane pretty colors?

A plane needs wind to generate lift to counteract gravity. It will not take off.

no, it won't.

That picture confirms my post. If the plane isn't actually moving, there are no aerodynamic principles working to generate lift. Doesn't matter how fast this hypothetical conveyor belt is moving.

It would be the same principle as flying a kite. You simply run with a kite to generate the appropriate lift necessary, then once it's caught a draft it goes crazy go nuts in the sky.

would never work...
unless they have a huge wind machine

no, the wings will clip on the sides and it will crash

I'm sticking with my request that we paint it pretty colors so it will look nice when the wings are ripped off and it explodes...

Exploding planes amuse and excite me.

it would be better if it was filled with fireworks so it would be even prettier
