SNOW! SNOW IS THE BANE OF MY EXISTANCE!
My connecting flight was canceled from Minneapolis to Sacramento.
I got a new one going to San Francisco -- good thing Lad is used to driving long distances to pick things up.
So EVERYONE pray for me that my second flight doesn't get cancelled.
Op, if you're reading this -- do you have any pull with the airlines? Think you could call in a favor? And if there is a drop tonight, can we make it in the San Francisco area? I mean, two birds with one stone and whut not.
But it is looking good that I'll make it there tonight -- I'll check in with y'all when we settled in. And yes, we will take many many pictures.

you guys! I'll be back Monday!

Panda, I've had a very serious talk with the weather gods, and they won't be pulling that kind of nonsense again, I promise you.
I sent them to bed without any dinner for a month.

At a fancier asian resteraunt, I was sitting at a table with my wife when 2 cookies were brought to our table. Thinking this was a perk of the resteraunt, my wife and I both cracked the cookies and ate them. We then read the fortunes:
Her's said "I hope she says yes" Mine said "Will you marry me".
We both chuckled, and quietly began to look around the room for a couple with a very confused looking man wondering WHERE the hell his cookies could be.
Never found them.

My husband got a fortune cookie fortune when he was 13 and he carried it in his wallet every day until he wanted to ask someone to marry him. When he got on one knee 12 years ago, he said "someone gave me this a long time ago and I'm suppose to give it to you." Then he handed me the little piece of paper that said: Accept the next proposition you hear.
I did.... or was it "I do"?

Of course, y'all know you're supposed to add the words "in bed" to any fortune cookie fortune, right...?

"One who hurts another hurts oneself." ...in bed.
"An interesting musical opportunity is in your near future." ...in bed.
i save the good ones in my wallet but it seems i've lost some of them.

It's hard to cry threadjack when the thread was completely OT to begin with.
Thanks! I had sooooo much fun (as you can see from the videos)
I'll post some pics up tonight!

YAY!
Dear, your laugh is absolutely infectious.
Welcome back.
So I guess I can add that this is a pic of the BEST fortune I ever got, and it was so so true. I got it 6 years ago, and that TV is still going strong!
