A woman scorned...my theory

Bree has been through a numerous of life changing events were she truly feels alone, that she can not trust anyone (except for perhaps D-Beast). She has snapped. All this paranoia has turned her against Jonas. She feels betrayed and ultimatly thought the worst.

Jonas does appear to have some guilty qualities, but I don't think he is with the order. Who can blame him for being upset??? He deeply cares about Bree and has done almost everything he can to keep her safe. I loved how Jonas mentioned in the last video that D-Beast wouldn't untie him because of the "hike". Bree feels like a woman scorned by someone she trusted once again, but it is really hitting her hard because of their undeniable connection.

Jonas admits to seeing the symbol in the cabin, which belonged to HIS PARENTS... yes his parents could of been apart of the order, or they could have gotten it as a soviegnier on one of their boating adventures. Remember at Christmas time when Jonas got her those National Geographic Mags with Egypt on the cover? She admitted she didn't know much about it but would give it a try for proving science wrong.

So maybe his parents loved to visit egypt, and Jonas shared the same interest in an attempt to feel close to them? I know that is a far fetch but something to think about. 8)

We definately need to investigate Jonas and his life before Bree/Daniel. If his parents were involved with the order, it might have been for the opposite reasons than Bree thinks. I also think Tachyon would have known if something was up with Jonas...she would have left a clue for Bree/Daniel to look out for.

I agree that Bree feels betrayed, but I really hate the use of the "woman scorned" language. It's such a cliche from the days when the culture portrayed women as being focused solely on relationships/marriage. "Hell hath no fury," because a "scorned" woman supposedly had nothing else in her life to care about or hope for.

Despite what others have theorized, I don't think that Bree's connection with Jonas has been in any way romantic -- I don't think that either of them has a romantic interest in the other, but I particularly think it's clear where Bree is concerned. She's got way too much going on in her life to get hot pants for some guy, no matter how hawt others may think he is. So it's particularly inappropriate to use the "woman scorned" language in this case.

I agree about the romantic notions, Lass. Nothin' there. Bree has never actually seemed interested in anything romantic, ever...at all.

I don't think she's scorned, but I do think she is taking everything out on Jonas, regardless of him being 'evil' or not.

I don't know why Tachyon felt comfortable spending the weekend at Jonas's, but I'm back to thinking he's with The Order. I find him way to suspicious to be overlooked, and the comment I made in my thread here, really, really bothers me. In the "Human Ransom, he tells Bree that the Orderites are "getting impatient". This says to me that he wanted to push her straight into the arms of the Order. It's bothered me ever since he said it.

To me, his "their getting impatient"...it sounded like he was nervous. Like they were giving them all looks or something.

I apologize about my terminology, I did not necessarily mean it that way...it sounded a lot better in my head, to bad theres no thesaurus up there.

If the Order is a global organization (and all indications are that it is) it would be impossible for Tachyon to know every single person involved. Remember, Brother had no idea that Gemma was with the Order and even went so far as to get romantically involved with her. Jonas could very easily have slipped under Tachyon's radar.
