Bree becoming really, really, really proactive?

Does anyone else get a real thrill out of thinking of Bree having Jonas tied up in a chair, or chained against a wall, cracking a whip? Jonas is in trouble. All that anger Bree is feeling will soon be taken out on Jonas. I can see it...days without water...not allowing him to sleep...Bree's own little Gitmo, designed especially for Jonas.

I can see Daniel getting a thrill out of it, yeah. Oh, you mean with what this means for her character! Oh, yes. Yes. My bad.

Anyway, yeah, I thought it was great. This is what we've been waiting for. It was foreshadowed in "Me For Daniel" and "The Human Ransom," but it's really happening now: Bree's becoming the mature, mini-Tachyon we hoped she would.

I think if anything, she's getting a little too proactive. Burning her bridges because of an unidentified symbol seems a little rash. A bit of subtlety (more poking around, watching Jonas, etc.) might have been a better way to go about things. That said, it is great to see her finally stop whining and start opening a few cans of whoopass. I just hope her idea of where to start isn't plying him with pizza and ice cream, though getting him to try some spin art might produce interesting results.

Yeah, but it wouldn't have been nearly as interesting.

Am I the only one who thinks that she's going to talk big for a few episodes and then cry and break out the stuffed animals?

Maybe I've been too disappointed by Bree too many times. She's fallen apart too many times for me to take this too seriously.

Either that or she's going to do something horrible to Jonas, only to find out that she was wrong all along.

Action and Reaction

Guys, she's not going to TORTURE him. A woman can be inspired to forceful reaction against a traitor without becomming Mistress Olga. You guys are being rediculous.

I'm actually thrilled. No more hemming and hawing. Locking up Jonas might have been sudden, but she actually NOTICED something and DID something about it. This is a trend I'd love to see continue. Bree is a smart girl: we know it, the writers know it, everyone knows it, but this is the first time we've actually SEEN her fire a few synapses in her own interest. Still, I have to applaud the speedy fashion with which she made the connection (Jonas has occult symbols all over his house, Jonas = Plant) and acted on it (Jonas locked in closet or whatever.)

Her plan has a major hole in it though: OpAphid just has to sit back and not do anything. If they take any action or say anything, they will confirm Bree's suspicions about Jonas. I hope she has a backup plan...

I have to agree. She's not going to punch him until he spills all. I don't see any bamboo under the fingernails either.

All Jonas has to do is sit there and deny everything. What's Bree going to do about it?

Anyone could have put that picture there.

I just think there's more going on than what little Miss Bree is saying in the video...

I agree. I'm really excited to find out where Bree found the symbol, how she found it and what she did next. So many questions!
