cameras in concerts

alright i'm going to a concert and i want to know how to sneak my camera in....
i want to take pictures of this wonderful experience!

I have my digital SLR and I sneak it in by wearing baggy pants or giving it to a friend with baggy pants. I also take apart the lens and the body. Tape the baby to my stomach and the lens to my lower calf.
But... I have never had a metal detector problem.

Back in the day I used to smuggle paraphenalia into concerts in my bikini top. i don't think that would work in this case, though.

barenaked ladies
and just a regular normal ditgital camera..but newer and higher techy and such
its jsut the metal ditectors they have, one of the gates, then two people with wands
i was thinking about stuffing it down my pants and saying i have a piercng down there...lmao

Given their liberal stance on IP, I'd call the venue and make sure that cameras are, in fact, banned from this concert. It's usually not the venues themselves that ban cameras, but the bands who play them.

if there are metal detectors put a disposable in ur purse (if they try to search it say "excuse me?" and they will be embarrased and let u go. if no metal detectorssame thing but with a better camera

it says directly on the ticket no cameras, video or recording please...
i don't know i'll figure something out. I don't think its that big of a deal because every concert i've been to i've seen people flash cameras constantly.
