TravelerJ and his partner DW
cassieresurrection
and Neural Net

All have some potential and they are fun to pick through for clues.

thanks trainer. i hadn't seen all of these. while enjoyable, and not being critical at all, i don't see any of these as really canon.

i still think dehteraew is the strongest candidate for being canon.

1st video - brinkmanship (Feb 6). Posted as a response to an LG422 vid, just text (what does the morse code say?). Low-key start, just like lg15 had.

2nd video - Tracking (Feb 9). Starts with us hearing an audio clip of an LG422 response vid urging bree not to do the ceremony. Then the video editing and music gets better around :40 than any fanfic i've ever seen. the music must not be a copyright problem, since the vid is on revver,, and it bears some musical similarities to the tachyon song (i.e., the same person could have written it).

3rd video - Return (Feb 11). Filmed in Fresno, CA. Again, amazing editing and stuff. For fanfic to go thru all this effort would be amazing. Ends with car drivign down road, with signs saying "TAG" on the right, then text says "we're it" NO, no, no way this is not canon. None. Nada. Zip.

4th video - Awry (Feb. 15). More tachyon-similar music. More great editing and original camera work.

Could i be wrong? Sure. But I highly doubt it.

Milo, I am the first one to avoid the "is-it-canon?" discussions because sometimes people can be way off in their speculations and when people bring up such an unlikely suggestion, it usually turns into a "rip-into-the-suggested-non-official-video-responder-and-list-all-the-reasons-why-he/she-sucks-and-could-never-be-an-official-part-of-the-story-and-then-go-back-to-listing-every-fault-of-this-person's-video(s)" conversation. It just breaks my heart.

However in this case, I am in agreement that of all the response videos that appear on the front page of this site, dehteraew, is the most-likely candidate to become an official part of the story.

Again, I support your level-headed assessment of this situation. Because there has been little, if any, oppostion or outrage to these videos and/or this idea, I guess folks from this forum wouldn't mind dehteraew's inclusion into the story. On the other hand, maybe few people have noticed. I guess we'll just have to wait and see where this leads...

this does seem to be the case. the videos have not directly interacted yet with the lg15 storyline like gemma and jonas did, or as opaphid did with CIW. basically my argument for canonhood is the quality of the videos and that they are filmed in california (albeit in Fresno, which is probably a more likely place to film than Ukiah though). i have heard that there are others in california who know how to shoot good video and do editing.

It's canon, but I have no argument to support this. Is that ok? No really, the editing doesn't look like your usual home made youtube vid. Yes, a few others in calif know how to shoot good videos, but still. If not canon, they took the right elevator towards the supreme kingdom and can hope to be one day welcomed as his children by saint Miles.

edit: not shooting in LA is not an argument. None of the opaphid videos were shot in LA, Glenn being from SF.

Well impulse if you read my expose', you'd see I wrote that these videos were filmed, while in CA, nowhere close to either SF or LA.
