I have to think someone has already said this, but I can't find it on the forums so if the discussion exists, point me to it.
Ahem.
Gemma IS Tachyon.
"What??" you say. "That's ridiculous!"
Well, what if the death of Gemma was all a plot to throw Op off. I thought of this all last night and I can't remember a lot of why I thought it. I'm sure there are holes in this theory and I want to hear them.
What better way to infiltrate The Order? And there is nothing more brilliant than hiding in plain sight.
Edit because I just remembered something:
Why did Brother have to be the one to off Gemma? Why couldn't Tach do it? Just a thought.
(yes I know the actress who plays Gemma is away at school, but I'm talking story arch not "real life" (Real life? Whats that?))

ok plot hole. when gemma was "shot" she was still working for the order and tachyon had been on the run from the order for a month or more.

Another plot hole: Tachyon and Brother were working against Gemma after they found out she was with the Order. She tried to seduce brother to find out where there base was, then had warpylol blow it up. So Tachyon has no love for Gemma, and while brother might, she did try to kill him

Elaboration is in order. My mind works in vague ways.
Tachyon = double agent. Gemma while working for Op, Tachyon is her alias when working against Op/the Order.
How else could she always stay one step ahead of Op?

Who the blazes is warpylol? damn this expanded universe stuff is kinda confusing.
I think this theory makes sense. I hope Gemma is still alive. If it turns out Gemma's death was staged, then I am willing to forgive that guy brother.

Bah... Tachy just met Bree in person.. I think Bree would know if it was Gemma... Or Lucy... or anyone else...

If Bree knows it´s Gemma, then she obviously wouldnt tell us. Tachyon wants her identity kept secret, because then it would expose her. Hopefully one day a vid will show tachyon´s alter ego, and to everyone´s surprise it´s Gemma! that would be awesome.... besides Jackie can´t stay in school forever, she must get a break sooner or later, she could do some vids then (if she wants to of course)

i dont know where that comes from but it doesn't nescesarily clash with the tachyon is gemma theory when you consider that all the information we recieve is part of a multilayered theatre performance.
i mean, if you have people pretending to be acting when they're really not, why is it so implausible to consider that people are also pretending not to be acting as people pretending to be acting?
i mean... all is an illusion.
