how to:

HOW TO GET CROPPED RINGTONE ON YOUR PHONE FOR FREE?

* Go to wap.mytinyphone.com on your mobile phone (wap browser) and type in code nr of this ringtone into "code nr" box, to get it on your phone for free.

* If you don't know how to use wap browser , you can download a ringtone to your computer (right click on play button and select "Save target as" from the menu) and use Data Cable to transport it to your phone. You can buy Data Cables from elite-wireless.com, they have a huge list of them for every model out there

I got it as mine, but what I did was download the song then record it in a quiet area to my phone.

Ah! that is much easier than all the steps involved in what I did. Smart chikkie! haha

Okay, there's a possibility I messed this up: I just used the first method, went to wap.mytinyphone.com, downloaded the first ringtone, it downloaded and I got a message saying it's complete...

Er, but I have no idea what happened to the file after that. (I have a Motorola RAZR, which is probably necessary information!) It didn't show up in the ringtone list. Anyone clever enough to point out what I did wrong?

for some reason only certain telephone services allow it.
Mine, Telus, doesn't allow it. I've been trying to get it onto my phone, but I jsut can't get it as a ring tone period.

I'm going to have to pay for the connection cable i think...

Kelly, use that other program that I used before you pay for the cable! it sends the tone to your phone in a multi-media txt msg...
