Question about Youtube account

I'm not sure if this is the place to post this, if it's been addressed somewhere else (I looked but didn't see it), or if anything can even be done about it, lol.
My issue is with the comments on the Lonelygirl youtube account. There's some really hardcore porn listed in the video comments area on the main account. Does someone monitor this area and take that stuff out? I know there's been a real push on the forum to stay PG13, and I'm wondering if that carries over to the youtube lonelygirl as well.
Basically just wondering about this.

I have noticed this also. The only alternative to allowing people to post whatever they want is to approve every single comment. Since LG-15 gets thousands of replies to each video, I'm not sure who would be up to this job!
When I upload to YouTube via my Director's Account, I am given only one of two options: allow free posting or approve all responses.
The porn-talk and hate speech may be reported to YouTube however.
I'd encourage you to do that. I've done that. People who do that will have their accounts suspended by YouTube, because this goes against the member agreement.

Personally I don't see why that's more of a big deal, than all the people posting SPAM and the endless "I'm First !!!!!!!!" comments

Well, fiiiirst!!! simply puzzles people, but is not mean-spirited. Spam is just annoying, but it's not necessarily hurtful. Nasty hate-filled speech and pornographic language is much different. Much, much different...

Actually Marbella did say that negative comments can be reported in her post. Just sayin'.
I would imagine that the number of comments on lonelygirl's YouTube page are so numerous that it would be difficult to sift through all of them to report the kind of negative remarks that have come to represent the worst of YouTube...
