Video Compression

I don't know where else to put this, so I'll just throw it in here.
After looking through the OpAphid videos, what really impresses me is how clean the videos look. Doubly so when you consider that it's compressed twice - once by the creators, and then once by YouTube.
What compression settings are used for these videos? Does anyone know?
