Hey voyboy, I've had rejections from attempts to use copyrighted stuff before.
Some music is protected by copyright, and some is public domain. I believe that's an Elvis Presley tune you have in the video, and all his works are copyrighted.
I did once try to make sense of the Revver terms on their forum, but then I quickly realized I could just switch to another song from the public domain.

What about "Fair Use?". How do we know when it applies and when it doesn't?

Well, I won't pretend to be an expert on Revver, but this is the link from their website regarding the law about Fair Use
here.
I know it's gonna sound like I'm blowing you off on this question, but Revver also has a forum for questions regarding their site
http://forums.revver.com/ I hope you all can find the answers to these questions there.

Wow thanks, AZ. You're on it! Not blowing off at all. You sent me to the source. It doesn't get any better than that! You're awesomness.

Not bad for a rough cut

You have an excellent sense of timing and humor. Great video. I really enjoyed it

How'd I miss that link? Thanks for posting it again.

And I am sorry that I neglected to mention that I also enjoyed the video voyboy! I guess I was in too big a hurry to try to help with your Revver issue!
Is that Elvis or Conway Twitty?
I also went to the public domain sites I am familiar with to try to find a copy of the tune, but I struck out there.

voyboy-
If you go to SoundClick and put in the search terms
Creative Commons License, you can find music in many genres from musicians who have agreed to allow people to use their music commercially (on Revver, for example). Just be sure to check their license page to see if they allow use. Now, off to watch your video...
*edit to add- great job! So enjoyable!

hey voyboy, that was very well done! liked the comic book shot, too.
i think the use of the entire song couldn't be overlooked by revver, even if they let small clips slide at some point.
luminous - i can't think of a case where use of a whole copyrighted song would ever be "fair use"

Revver rejected one of my vids once because it had a copyrighted song in it.

Hey Apo thanks. I too did some research (after you simplified Revvers letter to me in one short sentence. Thank you!) and it all comes up as Conway Twitty. He wrote it.
However, that recording sounds too much like Elvis to be Conway Twitty, but not Elvis enough to be Elvis.
You know what I mean?
