I was just cleaning my office and had a thought.

What if Tachyon kidnaps Bree? Then posts a video for Oppy saying "I've got Bree....let Daniel go."

Might make for an interesting turn, especially since we're all thinking Tach is in Fiji or wherever. Maybe she's been here all along....

I don't think the order would care.... if daniel s no use to the order then they will just kill him. Tach obviously is not gonna hurt bree unless she is bad too.

"good" and "bad" are completely subjective terms.

Personally, I don't think Tachyon is on anyone's side, except her own. she's pissed at the Order and wants to bring them down. I don't think shes got an allegiance to Bree. I see no reason why she wouldn't harm Bree, if it meant that it would have a great negative impact on the Order.

No one is all good or all bad. And sometimes, sacrifices must be made...

I don't think that Tachyon's hatred of the Order is anything more then a personal vendetta. While she may be working for an organization that has broader reasons, I think her own are pure and simple jealousy issues that have remained with her since childhood. She has said that her sister was treated differently because she was a chosen one. Tachyon has said that she has come to term with that, but I think she's lying through her teeth.

I don't think that this has anything to do with Bree personally. It could have been anyone, as long as it screws over the Order.

Why would she bother? It would be easier just to kill Bree if she wanted to screw things up for the Order.

I think Tachyon would much rather enlist Jonas (if he already isn't working with her) to help Bree infiltrate the order to save Daniel.

I think that would be her preference, but Ialso think it is fair that we question how altruistic she really is. She's got plenty of reason to have a personal vendetta against the Order, and, really, for all we know, the Culper Ring might be willing to resort to dirty, dirty tactics if it was to stop OpAphid from getting what she wants (Tachyon seemed to think it was entirely fine, if not wonderful, to give Brother the opportunity to shoot Gemma when she wasn't expecting anything, and I still wonder where they got a corpse to trick OpAphid into thinking Brother died months earlier in that explosion in London).

I don't expect Tachyon to come in looking to shoot Bree from the get-go, but if they were all about to be captured and it looked like it was all over, I wouldn't be surprised if she tried it then. Perhaps as a last resort.

Definately the most effective way to ruin the Orders plans would be to kill Bree, but I think you are right when you say that it would be a last resort.

part of the ceremony may be to kill bree which would be another good reason not to kill her.

That would be good... seeing as how Tachy seems to be the only one with the resources to fight OpAphid.
