Did any of you OpAphid players ever think of

I don't play the game and i am surprised I never got that... Gemma gave herself away to us very early on... Maybe she wasn't bad and was trying to warn us...

That's been said in a couple different vids. It seems there is a common knowledge meaning (that one) and a separate meaning too, from what I have gathered (someone correct me if I'm wrong). I remember hearing something about the "d" standing for destruction or something like that.

It is interesting I haven't noticed it ever being discussed here.

As all that sort of thing is considered part of the ARG, you'll find all the puzzles that led to the alternate solution of the acronym as well as the discussion of it's possible importance over in the OpAphid: The Official LG15 Alternate Reality Game section of the boards =)

Though now that it seems this is all (finally!) part of the main game, it and some of the other puzzles and info will probably start to be discussed here too, but it's generally kept over there to keep all the ARG info together.

Go and have a read of a few threads there and in the LGPedia, and ask around over there if anything confuses you, people are always happy to help newbies get caught up if they're really having trouble finding something.

yeh thats right, the one bree and gemma said is for outsiders and there is another which is on aphidpedia which is the one from insiders

The alternate acronym is

A = Analyze
P = Protect
H = Hinder
I = Infiltrate
D = Destroy

Well it's part of the ARG, so I guess it really wouldn't matter if you didn't play.

so it's not part of the LG15 storyline.
First the creators say it's not...then they start screwing around and now it's on the main page....but it's still not part of the storyline?

lol, well I guess eventually it will make sense (the acronym that is) but for right now I don't think it's really all that significant unless you're into the ARG- So if I were you I wouldn't worry about it
