I've been posting a while, and have watched this forum grow as well as the LG15 universe. However, this whole time the slogan of the forums (seen above) is still "Forum to post messages about Bree and Danielbeast"

That is not what the forum is anymore, although that is a part of it. We need a new slogan. Wanna run a contest?

At the top of my page, it says "A tribute to Lonelygirl15". That's in the 2nd skin...

that was what the site originally said, too! i think its amusing, although it might confuse people. in the breeniverse this site exists as a fansite created by a guy called "bukanator" who fell in love with the early videos. this forum in the breeniverse believes bree and daniel and the rest are all real. BK is the currently reigning Bukanator (the fifth one).

who were the other 3 bukanators? lol

and why doesnt he ever come to the forums, or phorums as he called them

The Phorum Bukanators were/are:
1 - the original Bukanator
2 - unknown?
3 - Terryfic
4 - Twjaniak
5 - Broken Kid

yep. the 1st bukanator was grant steinfeld. at some point before the "outing" grant and the creators parted ways. who did the bukanator duties between grant and terry is not clear, it may have just been miles or miles in conjunction with someone unknown. before the outing, buka's appearances at the phorum were erratic. he'd erase or combine threads in a clumsy matter, but eventually agreed not to delete anything.

if you go to the youtube comments on the earliest lg15 videos, you will see that bukanator makes a few comments like "this is great". and then, around july 16, he announced that he started up a fan site and posted the link to it. at that time he references himself and "aishapuppy" as creating the site. aishapuppy is grant's dog.

Wow...that's really good history. Thanks, Milo! I think a lot of the LG15.com (the "phorum") fans aren't familiar with the very early days, and a lot of the early-day fans don't post as often anymore.

Personally, I didn't know a dog was involved in the making of the site. I'm extremely impressed! I wonder if the puppy did the SQL work?

Bukanator 1.0 stuck up his periscope for a while (in calmer waters) but has since submerged again... A true man of mystery that one.

Phorum 1.0 was pretty cool, albeit very unorganized. It was really fun because it was more intimate and the "clue hunting" was more, well, on a different level... But that's another story.

We used to REALLY bitch about the moderation then though. It was non-existent. So much so that we all left. This version of the Phorum is MUCH better organized and has adapted to the larger audience very well.

I appreciate your efforts BK, as well as all the Bukanators before you.
