i really want to know why there is no message to jonas in this vid from "daniel" (in quotes because i'm not sure if he's brainwashed or not).
i mean, the whole vid is directed at bree...does this mean that jonas is not as important to the order as some people were thinking? i mean, the boys were getting to be good friends. you think he would have said SOMETHING to him, even if it was just, "hey jonas, you're cool and i think you should join this rad order too...and maybe bring bree with you."

any opinions or clarifications? did it strick anyone else as a little odd or am i weird?

Hmm, that's an interesting thought, stardust. Perhaps it's the idea that Jonas is worthless to the Order. One can blatantly see that, from this video, the Order still wants Bree for the/a ceremony. What's Jonas to them? An innocent bystander? Or one could argue he's part of the Order already, which is why the Jonas shout-out would be sorta redundant.

Or if Jonas is with the order he wouldn't have to say anything to Jonas.. Jonas would already be in the know.

even if they did reference Jonas, i doubt he would have any significant reaction. I think the video is directed mostly at Bree because she will be more affected by it.

There is something very wrong about this video.

1. No mention of Jonas.
2. Daniel has changed clothes - remember him selecting an outfit with Jonas? However, the shirt he's wearing in this vid is definitely his; we've seen it before. Why bring a change of clothes for an evening at "Pins and Pints"
3. The video quality is the same as "The Ends Justify the Means" shot in his room BEFORE he went to Jonas' house.

Could the Order have pre-recorded this video in Daniels room? That would explain all three points.

Trainer, are you saying that maybe he was ALREADY with the order before he went to Jonas' house?

Anything is possible. I'm not sure that Daniel would willingly betray Bree. It's possible that there's some type of mind control at work (before? after? I don't know). Things just don't add up.

So, this could be proof that this is a modern video of Daniel or this could be a lazy continuity mistake by the Creators.

But: Daniel's hair in Miss Me matches the current hair style. This collage shows the hair during the running away period, the hair cut after he came back to his house (and would have been the best time for the Order to get him), and his hair in the current video (which hasn't changed much since he left Jonas' house).

he could have been wearing an under shirt.

Check out the Christmas video. That was first video of Daniel and Bree together after he found the camera in "The Ends Justify the Means". Similar hair, same chin fuzz.

EDIT to say it's really hard to get a good screen cap - especially at 2:30am with blurry eyesight - but if you watch the vid, you'll see what I mean.
