Doesn't sound like things are going well in the Tachyon-Brother relationship, does it?

It sounds to me like maybe he actually DIDN'T kill Gemma... but not on purpose. Maybe he caused her to go into hiding?

Okay, here's my alternate interpretation, working from the assumption that Brother is out of contact with Tachyon either because she won't talk to him, or because she can't. Either way, it's not Brother's choice.

Easy-peasy. Brother's made some kind of mistake. I would agree that it has something to do with Gemma.

Brother doesn't know if Tachyon is coming back, and he doesn't know how to fix the situation he's gotten himself into. It might be that Brother is in charge now...and we know how good and idea THAT is.

None of Brother's contacts can tell him anything about Tachyon, so he's making this last-ditch attempt to get in touch with her...using the old standby, her calling card.

If Tachyon won't talk to Brother, then this is his attempt at an apology and a plea for her to return.

If Tacyon can't talk to Brother, then he's trying to let her know that he can't hold down the fort on his own and that things are slipping.

This last line also seems to me like it's referencing OpA's famous "Some things are meant to be a secret."

And this makes me think that Brother's a little bit fed up as well...

Tachy is probably ticked off at Brother for NOT killing Gemma and this is where their relationship is starting to tear.

The timing of all this, has to mean he failed to protect Daniel.

Maybe Tachyon told him to watch over the kids while she was gone?

I'm telling you, that's his silver Expedition in the Cowboy video (before it zooms in on the white van), and that voice is definitely his! I guess he was hoping Daniel was in the van, but at least he saved Jonas/Bree.

Still, he failed Tachyon (who has always looked out for Daniel, or asked Brother to assist with it--remember passing along the GPS message?).

Brother failing to protect Daniel doesn't explain Tachyon's long and suspicious silence. She hasn't been talking since the end of Dec., right after Gemma's alleged "death." I won't buy that she's really in Fiji...but I will buy that Brother's in the doghouse.

I think that the text of the voicemails, when examined as a whole, indicates that Gemma is the mistake Brother made.

Could it be possible that Tach was near brother when he went to shoot Gemma, and shot Tach instead and now is crazy about Gemma again.

and yes I find Tach's absence suspicious. I never bought the Fiji thing.

Gemma is dead and gone. Brother is lamenting the fact that Tachyon gave him a job to do and he failed. Now Bree and Jonas are venturing into harm's way and it's all his fault.

Although there are lots of Silver Expeditions in California, and we can't say for certain that it's Brother's vehicle in the cowboy vid, it makes sense that Brother would be following Bree and Jonas. The off-screen voice distracted the Cowboy at the perfect time for Jonas to make his narrow escape. Seems too coincidental to me.

As far as Tachyon's absence, well, we know she probably isn't in Fiji. Op has people all over the world, and it doesn't make sense that Brother would reveal Tach's location. Tachyon could be in hiding, or maybe she is undercover again with a different assignment and she hasn't been able to respond to Brother. She thought Brother could handle this on his own; eventually, she'll get the message and come to the rescue.
