So, milowent.blogspot.com is saying that Nikki B is actually Alli D. a friend of the Creators. Time to move her out of fanfic and up into the characters section?

Wow. Now that this info. is available on milowent's blog, I don't think that I am very surprised though. I kind of just wished that she was just a clever fan who wasn't part of the series. I wonder if she was going to ever be revealed or if she was going to be continue to function in the way that she has been.

Well, I do hope she continues and gets us some inside info on Gemma...

I say no moving her to official until the official word comes down. After all... well... who's to say what proves a character is canon? I think I gave a pretty good case for lonelygirl362436 being canon, but...

I admit it. I was caught off-guard by this news. I thought Nikki's initial offerings were too crudely produced to be canon. I guess they did that on purpose, to make her appear merely a fan.

I also hope to see her remain fan material. If she goes canon, it will almost certainly destroy her character.

despite her connections to the crew and creators...I still don't think she needs to be "cannon". She is not a 'character' in the story. Her role has no direct link to the story. She is our connection, our eyes and ears.

She does not need to be ranked as a "character", as this would destroy the role set for her. She is to be one of us. She is the ONE character that we have some control with...that is...we can direct her as the story unfolds. Gives us a link into the "world behind the world" of Lonelygirl.

I knew she was canon...she is stupid in uncovering clues and investigating the obvious which was my first clue to yeah....she being tolde what to do.
If I lived in that area I know I would be able to uncover more than her

She has been posting in the forums just like any other fan, I wonder if she will comment on this discovery.

it was pretty obvious since the beginning she was cannon when she wasn't willing to share certain things with us...ie...what was in the box which she found near the cermony site.

This has never in my mind, not been canon...it's just way to obvious she is part of the series and it always has been. Any other good reporter would have gotten way more info by now btw.
