At some point I believe we learned that Daniel wanted to become a film maker. What if this entire series is fake? The big reveal of Bree's youtube account as a fake served to show that these are characters and not real people. My theory is that these character's have created their own series, which is what we have been following. I'm not sure if this is making sense and I'm not sure how likely this is but at the moment it's the only conclusion I can draw about the events that have taken place so far.. maybe it's all a show within this series put on by the characters. Bree, Jonas, Gemma, etc, etc are aspiring actors and Daniel is an aspiring film maker and this is what they've come up with to break into the business. What do you think?

Eh, it's a thought, but I would be really let down if that's what this turns out to be.

It seems too boring. That it was all a lie.

But, on the other hand, it would tie in with the CiW "Bree tells lies" thing.

And "Myspace/Youtube tells lies" because on each site, the characters say that they are just normal people (with BIG problems, lol).

Then maybe CiW would come back? No, then what would she be? An actress that was turned down? lol, That would be a little idiotic.

In theater plays or in films, that would be called a mise en abyme (I think). In this series that would be called a stupid plot.

That would be an interesting way to end the series. Sorta like the Newhart show ending with the main character waking up and it was all a dream. You could just say "oh, we're done. Thanks for watching our project."

But I don't think it would be a very satisfying thing to do!

I'd be fine with that.....I'd be fine with any confirmed conclusion. I feel like a "hamster" in the wheel.

I was thinking that this could be a variation on the plot of "The Game". It's unlikely, and I hope it's not the case, but consider how much the plot is driven by things happening to Daniel or because of Daniel's actions:

* Revelation of the fake ceremony

* Hidden cameras in his house

*Going to Bree's house to retrieve something important, and to the warehouse to retrieve the shipping boxes

* Following Bree to her meeting with her dad, and being able to rescue her after she runs to him

* Getting kissed by Bree at least twice

And those are just some of them.

It's possible, but what a huge copout that woul would be. Basically it would be the creators wanting to end the show and not being able to come up with a better way. I really hope that is not the case.

I do hope this thread dies the quiet death that it should. A dignified, quiet, anonymous, unobserved, quick death, like that of a lone hermit passing gently away into the netherworld, where it can peace and tranquility.

All I could think of was that damn 80's nighttime soap, Dallas, when I read this.

haha my parents used to watch Dallas ^_^ The shower scene...lol. God, everyone was pissed when they saw that.


So back on topic...we know for real that the characters are indeed actors...trying to make it in the business..for real. Its just a show.

Maybe I'm not understanding your theory? O.oa

That would kinda suck in my opinion.
