There is a new Paul & Andrea vid (sans Andrea) up on the Tube of You in response to Nikki Bower's latest.
"An Ode to Bree's Dad"
Info: In order to deal with the death of Bree's dad, I'm taking Nikki Bower's advice and writing an ode. I must admit though, not even I knew much about him..
Music: La Toussaint by Steve Riley & the Mamou Playboys ...

Thanks, FP! I was going to post about this when the site was down and then forgot. I think Paul's poem is pretty impressive! It's a shame he doesn't post on the message board and share more such poetry with us.

I'd like to thank Paul for his moving ode to Bree's Dad.
Yet there is one lingering question: What does Paul think Bree's Dad's name was?

I can't stand Paul or Andrea.
Is it just me, or does he look just like Steve from Blue's Clues in this video?

No, I think the last line of the poem was something like "to honor you, we'll call you Paul". So basically naming him after himself.
I guess Andrea wasn't over his house that day, or perhaps there's trouble in paradise?!
I don't see the "Steve resemblence:

Especially not if you consider what he looks like now! (on the left)

since i consider nikki to be pretty close to canon (not sure what category we'll have to invent for her, but she, like, KNOWS stuff), i enjoy the Paul and Andrea videos because they actually fulfill the creators' original stated vision of wanting people to create characters to inhabit the breeniverse. i never really understand how this can or will work, but P&A keep at it.
a lot of the other successful spinoffs rely entirely on humor, like lonesomeoctober and recently apotheosisAZ (sp?) (which isn't bad, just an observation), or horror (all the cassies).
paul and andrea try to actually be a part of the story, and also tell some of their own stories. they've apparently even outlasted gemma!

Since he started a music career.

(I have track 1 on the CD, "Mighty Little Man", it's kind of funny in a weird way as I recall. A sister's friend had given it to us because she thought it was so crazy.)

Oh no, it's bad. Bad is when you insult lonesomeoct by using his
nom de plume in the same sentence as mine!
I'm just pulling your leg!
Never do it again.
I do love Paul's video! I am glad to see him making another one. Where's Andrea?

milowent,
I would agree that P&A have created a spin-off that keeps with the producers's original statement. I wonder where this spin-off will lead. (I like P&A; I like thoughtful approaches.)
In addition, APAZ, you, sir, are so funny and enjoyable. Stop threatening people.
Where is Andrea? I hope it has nothing to do with any "hooking up" or "walks of shame." Paul and Daniel are friends. I hope their approach to the ladies aren't similar.
