Romeo and Juliet

Last night I auditioned for Romeo and Juliet at a local community theatre, I used to be involved in a lot of different theatre organizations from the time I was about 10 until a few years ago.

Last night was the first audition I have been to in a long time so I was REALLY nervous. I think I did a decent job, I could have done better but my nerves prevented me.
Anyway, I will find out either today or tomarrow if I will get a callback or not.
So, wish me lots of puppies and sunshine until then.

What part did you try out for?

It's a pity your local community theatre didn't pick a good Shakespeare play.

Oh, and break a leg. ;)

Thank you all sooo much.

I auditioned for either Lady Capulet or The Nurse.
AP, we have a replica of The Globe Theatre that only does Shakespeare plays so they do Romeo and Juliet every year, its kind of a staple in the community now.

Hark! What light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun! Arise fair sun and kill the envious moon, who is already sick and pale with grief, that thou, her maiden art far more fair than she.

Good luck!

No shit, never say good luck when dealing with the stage and never walk onstage barefoot! Unless your part calls for it...but still...
