New Rules ^_^


We're going to create a poem.

Each poster can post two lines. Each line can have any length, but can't be excessively long. The lines do not have to rhyme, but it would be good to keep it flowing with the rest of the poem.

And no swearing.

I'll start.


Once upon a time,
We all started to rhyme.

scaring people, uncommonly, I asked if you had a dime,
started, people did, throwing at me some thyme,

And before we knew it time was lost,
the ground was cool and covered in frost.

I slipped and I slide down the street,
like I was on a snowboard, it was kinda neat.

We laughed and we played like children do,
Without a care in the world and without the worry of bills too!

ignorance is bliss and life's troubles float away,
feeling rocked like a baby in sway.

In a perfect world in a perfect place,
frozen time like in a snowglobe with a smiling face.

the world at peace with quiet starry nights,
the world once again without all the fights.

After this peace the fight arose,
a fight for identity, life, and prose.

Proving oneself is a goal with futile accomplishment,
until onself loves themself it won't be fulfilled nor ment.

Self-love is practised but sometimes they frown,
People lose the feeling of being needed when they can do it on their own.

and in loving ones self, thus does someone forget to love others,
Balance must be achieved for an overabundance of one thing leads to a sinful selfish passion.
