Bree's Heritage -- Who is Bree?

I've looked through the titles of the threads here, and none of them really deal with who Bree is and where she came from. And since we now know for sure that her parents are not her real parents, I figure I should create a thread to collect all of the theories on Bree (for easy location and reference here on the boards). Here are mine
1. Bree has inherited the throne and title of Queen or Grand Dame (or something else) of the Order of Denderah
2. Bree is a special being created by the Order to either save the Order from extinction or create a master race on Earth
3. Bree is a test subject for an experiment that will offer a cure for some disease plaguing the members of the Order, or a cure for a disease that plagues mankind (such as AIDS, anemia, etc)
That's three to start out with
