Well, i've never been a really skinny girl. i've been thin-ish. What the rappers call "thick." So i was curvy. I've battled with obesity ALL my life. It sucks. I was constantly mad efun of as a kid. Being a ministers daughter didn't help either...
So when i got into my teen years i lost A LOT of weight. Some of it through stupidity (eating disorder and drugs) but most of it through exercise.
Well as most of you know, I am a housewife, and I have recently given birth to a beautiful baby girl...so extra weight is expected.
When I had my first daugher however, I droped 50 lbs. EASILY!
With this pregnancy...not so much. I gained a whopping 85 LBS!!!!!! She wasn't a big baby either, just me and my husband like to eat. And the pregnancy gave me the excuse to (like in cuba one night we ordered each 8 hamburgers)(sick huh???)
So anyways, last night was going to be the first night that i really used my stripper pole. I bought special langerie just for the night, and i practiced SUPER HARD throughout the day (except when i was on the chat). I was ready to go...
then I go to put on the outfit.......doesn't fit....at all.
So i literally pulled my sweats back on crawled into bed told jim "don't fucking touch me" and cried. Cried the hardest he has ever seen me cry. I don't know if it was the crying or if it was the fact that i was disgusted with myself, but i ended up puking. I couldn't do anything at all. JIm had to take care of lisa.
augh it was a bad night...and morning. I don't want to look at food, i don't want to make lunch for my four year old...its just chaos in my brain...

It'll be okay. We all gain extra weight...you'll lose it again. It just takes dedication.
We eat out too much a lot too...and I've told Chris...we both decided to just not each as much anymore. Its hard the first week or so, but after that, your stomach will start to shrink. When your stomach shrinks, you'll only be able to each so much food.
I love the idea of a stripper pole...maybe you could work out by using it more? Just take your time and go at your own pace. I'm sure your husband loves you the way you are. Having kids puts a toll on someones body...but you can have the body you want. Its like I said, it just takes dedication.
Don't sit and be depressed about it. Get up, even away from these forums, and start exercising a little. Watch TV and go at your own pace.
ALCOHAL is a depressant, so I say stay away from the drinking. I know you've been doing a lot of that lately...and drinking can also cause you to gain weight. So lay off the booze and get moving...its a new year. ^_^

And plus! you need to eat!
Just not a lot.
Invest in something to eat for breakfast...like Carnation Breakfast milkshake...it has a lot of nutrients and vitamins in it...still sugar...but one glass of that fills you right up. Thats what I do, unless I skip breakfast all together--which is usually.
Eat salads...they use more energy to actually digest and eat than to cause you to gain weight. And use oil and vinegar dressing. ^_^ Very healthy.
And dinners, well thats up to you =) Anything... just limit what you do eat.
And switch to drinking only water and juices...no soda..no alchohal. Tha'll definately cause you to lose weight.

It sucks....I know. Obesity runs on both sides of my family so I have to battle weight all the time. I'm not fat but I have times where I'm "fleshy" and feel gross.
I have never "maintained". I am in a constant, 24/7 state of gaining or losing, and when you get to what feels like a "point of no return" it's f*cking depressing, like you're in a deep, deep hole and can't even see the edge.
Wallow in it for a bit....if you're like me you will just reach a point and a switch will flip and you'll get pissed and determined and say Hell NO!
My favorite saying in the WHOLE world is THIS TOO SHALL PASS. Unfortunately, I have to realize that the "THIS" is the good things too. So, to you.....THIS TOO SHALL PASS.

Hope you feel better soon, Kelly... Sorry I don't know much to say that will help, other than that I'm about 60 pounds heavier than I should be and have been struggling to lose it as well.... I know guys are looked at differently when it comes to weight, so I'm not sure how much that helps... Plus, I like curvy women

Skinny girls are a turn-off...

And instead of exercising for the sake of losing weight, do something that you consider fun. Take a strip cardio class, go for walks with your kids, play with them at the park. If you are enjoying yourself, you won't notice that you are working out.

THanks everyone for the advice..
BA:
I've been trying to get my butt in gear and do everything you suggest. I love italian salad dressig and a GOOD chef salad (my favorite restuarant unfortunately has a horrible chef salad!) i"m considering the instant breakfasts now, i think i was saving that for my last resort...but it seems so simple and easy and smart. Don't know why I as saving it for last
Skydive:
This is probably my breaking point when i say "HELL NO!"
Mute:
Your soo right guys do look at you differntly when you put on wieght. Luckly for me..Jim doesn't. He likes bigger women, and skinny women turn him off (like when i was...skinny-ish,k "Thick" as the rappers call it, he says i looked sick...which is possible...that was my druggier days)(HA never thought of that....)...Mute thanks for helping me realising something!!!!
Ziola:
Trust me chicky I've een doing stripper-size for the past 6 years....it helps..omg IT HELPS...but if you stop for even a month you put on like..15 lbs. it's ridiculous! But after last night, and since i have a pole now, i'm going to go back and start taking classes again. Plus i miss them. They're fun, make you feel sexy when you feel like .... Jabba the Hut

When I was younger I thought guys liked "skinny" but I have found it to be almost 100% the opposite, which takes some of the pressure off that I put on myself.
