My apologies if this has been brought up already. A quick search did not turn it up.
After watching 108 "The Unthinkable Happened" on Revver, something possesed me to go back and check YouTube. Turns out, the still frame for this video is one of Bree in her room, looking like she's crying, which is not actually in the video.
When I watched the video on YouTube, I noticed a flash at 1:26 into the video. When I went back it turned out to be that still image. Is there any significance to this, or to 1:26? Perhaps January 26th??
Again I'm sorry if I'm being redundant.

Well, the description for the video pretty much says it all:
Daniel here (yeah, yeah on Bree's account... and I put a freeze frame of her so you'd watch... it's important). We caught up to Bree... well... just watch.
It's a classic youtube hack, they put a still image at the halfway point of the video...which is the fram that youtube uses as the video preview.

for those who are curious...
here is a screencap:
and skunkwaffle is probably right. They probably included it just to make the little Youtube Preview Window show Bree's Crying face.
Kinda odd that they chose to include a picture of her crying in her old bedroom though. maybe that's all they had lying around.

This is kind of strange actually. Why would they need to attract more people to watch the video? lonelygirl15 has over 70000 subscribers!

I'm pretty sure they were trying to get peoples attention because it was the holidays...and not too many were sitting in front of the computer. They also posted a myspace bulletin.

It was Bree's myspace. She posted the bulletin. She also uploaded a new picture to her profile.
This is it:

months ago, the creators realized that when the middle pic was not a good picture of bree, their views went down. in some videos they couldn't do anything about it, but they closely watched their views and were surely aware of this phenomenon.
so, they "cheated" a bit for this video, and it seems to have worked: The Unthinkable Happened is showing over 376,000 views right now. the last vid to exceed that number is over 2 months old: "Where's Daniel?" (Oct 19) at over 391,000 views. most lg15 vids don't get to 300,000 views.
