Question... sort and quick.
Do your socks ever get lost at the bottom of your bed?
I went to wash my sheets. So I am stripping my bed and I find 7 socks at the bottom of my bed.. now I guess the real question is Where is my 8th sock?
hmph.. I shall do a poll.

I don't sleep in my socks.. I'm pretty sure if I did, tho, my bed would eat them.

Well, my husband's socks and my socks seem okay, but my daughters' (they're 9 years old ) have sock issues.
I am ashamed to say that now I only buy white gym socks for them because they are forever losing socks. Because we were tired of finding only one pretty pink frilly sock or only one precious purple tinkerbell sock and a bunch of mismatched solid colors, they only wear white cotton gym socks. No matter what.
That is all that I will buy until we locate the other socks. I imagine that hundreds of dollars have been lost on their disappearing socks. Now, if socks go missing, there is always a match somewhere. (It's quite sad, really and I am ashamed to admit it.) I have a feeling that I should be checking their beds...

haha wow. So this doesnt happen to people?
Ever since I was little I would wake up with like one sock on, or no socks when I went to bed with socks on.

They all got lost, huh? Did you check your bed? ...Oh, I get it...
You must live in climate that allows socklessness.
I live in New England. I think child protective services would take my children if we didn't suit 'em up for cold winters (albeit with white cotton gym socks). I miss the summer . This is a time when sock issues are moot for those of us in cold climates.

I live in Florida and I wear flip flops probably 340 days a year. I lived in CT for a year in college and that was probably the last time I had socks. I do not miss them...though I wore them far less than other people because I have boiling oil for blood and am always hot (a side effect of being satan). I used to go outside in the snow wearing t-shirts sometimes. The only thing I miss about the cold was the way it smelled and sleeping with the window open.

Now I really miss the summer. (*grumbles and goes to turn up heat and make sure everyone has clean socks for New Year's Eve party...*)
Happy (warm) New Year!

I only wear socks to bed when its freezing outside (which it has been lately). Most of my socks stay on fine but I did have one sock fall off just a couple days ago so I voted for sometimes.

I do that a lot in the winter. I go to bed with socks on cuz my feet are cold, then when they warm up I kick off my socks. I try to sweep them on the floor with my feet but usually leave one in bed.

I usually don't sleep with socks, but when I do, I'll wake up in the middle of the night with one sock half way off. Its like someone was pulling on my sock during the night. When I don't wake up with it half off, I wake up in the morning..and the sock is completely gone. Months later I'll look under my bed and find it there..I think it falls between my bed and the wall..and then falls under the bed.
