I've been hearing about this LonelyGirl 15 bullshit for a few months now but I felt compelled to comment given that she appeared on the Tonight Show.

First off, Bree, you are not an actress. You are an "actress" in the way that Paris Hilton is an actress. There is a difference between acting and performing an attention seeking stunt to gain fame without paying your dues like so many respected actress' working today.

What you did was tricking people into believing you were a 15 year old girl. You pandered to the pedophile demographic that served Britney Spears soo well.

Now I'm sure you'll manage to turn all of this fame into some kind of career but I seriously doubt that you have any real talent apart from making middle aged perverts cream their shorts. So my advice is to get into porn now before your looks go and you can't pass yourself off as a 15 year old anymore.

If you have a problem with Lonelygirl15, Bree, Jessica Rose, or whatever, rant about it on your own real estate. Besides, it's not wise to waltz into a forum with, I'd say, about 100 actively obsessed fans and start bashing the reason none of them are getting any sleep (*cough* opheads *cough*). You're just going to get stuff thrown at you.

If you want to attack someone, go for the Creators....she just showed up for the casting call like many other young women. Get a grip on reality.

Eh, Idunno. I'm a fervent lonelygirl lover, but I'll admit that none of them are exactly oscar contenders. What I'm annoyed about here is how glib and, well, crap Thin's argument was really.

It's not exactly a publicity stunt when you are hired by an independent party to work professionally in a project that would last far past this apparent "climax" that happened when audience members scoured the internet and set ip address traps for any lonelygirl information.

"Bree", Jessica Rose is not the creator of this. So as far as "her" tricking anyone goes, you are mistaken. As already stated, she merely turned up for the casting call.

Bree is a character, a role which Jessica is playing, she's not just a girl who lied about her age. Lonelygirl is a show, it may be a new kind of show, but it is a show. I'm sure there are actresses on TV who have played younger girls in the same way Jessica has.

The creators of this show have ADMITTED this is fake, everybody knows (apart from the occasional noob on Youtube ), they never set out to deceive anybody, just present a new kind of "artform", as it has been described previously.

I'm not sure if you're saying your annoyed at being deceived here, or you just think very little of Jessicas acting abilities, but I don't think you've heard the whole story...

All great points jobee....90210 comes to mind for people who played characters who were younger than them.

everyone is entitled to their opinion but gosh....if you don't like it you don't have to watch it. the show has MANY fans that continue to watch and yes as far as Jessica Rose being on the tonight show...well that just proves that somebody has done something right regarding the LG15 series.....oh you just made me mad!! and i hate to get mad at people but....oh.....

Yup pretty much all "teen" programs are 20 somethings.

Additionally with child actors, you MUST be older than your character. The average call for an 8 year old character will ask for 9 and 10 year olds and so forth. That's basic Hollywood protocol.
