Ignore modification for the board?

I don't know which version of phpBB you are running here, but there are 'ignore function' modifications which can be installed. It may come in handy, given that there appears to be at least one user bent on being a 'repeat offender'.
I know the moderators can't be on 24/7, so they can't immediately pounce upon offenders. In the meantime, the 'ignore' function can retain a usefulness in the forums.

what kind of life does a person have if they are stuck on creating account after acount and harrass members on a forum.
You know it is a chargable offence, and it's easy enough to find out who this person is by their IP addresses...

They're presumably going through open proxies. But even tracing back through those isn't impossible

I don't think it's a hacker... Finding open proxies is pretty simple. All you really need to know in order to find them is that they exist. A little creative use of our friend Google, and you're golden
To answer your question, PM me... The conversation has moved way past it's original intent already... So, to get back on-subject, to the Creators: I'd be happy to come on board and start by installing an ignore mod

I'd suggest if you have a problem with a user, please PM a moderator and provide a link to the post (or at least one post) that bothers you. That way, we can do something about it!

Thanks!
