I'm sorry if this has already been broached, but I have looked around for a while and it seems that no one has brought it up.

Does anyone else think that maybe even Bree's own parents shouldn't be trusted at this point and that maybe Bree seeing her dad is a bad idea? (assuming that she hasn't been captured and that she has left to see her father, an outcome that I think maybe people find plausible)

Maybe there is something kind of scandalous or sinister about her parents and that is the reason that she doesn't want to tell us what her parents wrote on that note? I just think it's very very strange that after all the prompting on the forum that she still wouldn't tell us what her parents wrote. It seems as though her Dad might not have her best interests at heart--or that maybe her Dad or Mom has been engaging in some activities that she wishes to conceal from us all...

Hm. Crackers (mind if I call you that?), the theory that Bree's parents were in cahoots with the Order was raised at about the time they told her they'd tell the Order that she didn't want to go through with the ceremony, but I don't recall that theory being discussed much since then -- except maybe in discussions of the voicemail he left for Bree.

We do know that Bree's dad has been engaging in some research involving ribozymes (sorry for any misspellings). Maybe that's an "activit[y] that she wishes to conceal from us all." Or maybe he's been concealing the actual nature of his research from Bree herself.

Personally, I think the contents of the note have been kept from us simply because the creators want to keep some aspects (some? heh, most aspects) of the story mysterious. They could also be keeping the note as their ace in the hole -- as something they can use to fill in gaps in the storyline or provide a piece of information that B&D otherwise wouldn't/couldn't have.

Thanks for reminding us that Bree's parents are not necessarily on her side.

its been brought up a couple of times, but it is a good point to note.
Also note on the other side of things, Bree's parents told her to go to daniels, and stay at daniels. They told her to run basically.
People have been saying..."well maybe that is jsut a plant."
But remember...bree's parents weren't too keen on her hanging out with a boy. So why would they tell her to live (basically) with him?

my thought too...with everything that's been happening and what not...yes I said what not...I think that Bree's parents shouldn't be trusted.

If that is the case then why would she still have such a big desire to want to find them? Unless she only wants answers. Didn't Daniel read the note as well? So why not let him know so he could go along with her to where ever she went off to?
