no i think it's possible. for a while i was convinced she wasn't canon, just a really good fanfiction with inside sources, but idk she made so many references to the show... CUSOON.. 'undisclosed location' ?? where could she be going?

I like Nikki but I don't know if I can really see her being canon from the quality of her vids...Not that they're bad, but you can see that Bree, Daniel, Jonas's etc. are better picture and sound

Technically...she doen't have to be MADE cannon, since she has simply followed up on locations, etc. That kind of interaction does not need to be "claimed" cannon since it is reality based.

She made a jump in "cannonicity" with the siting of Gemma* (if that was Gemma and Lucy)

I don't know how she could be made a character in the story, since she is a reporter keeping us in line with the reality pieces of the Bree story. To add her as an intricate character that has an effect on the story line (other than reporting it) makes very little sense in cannon.

Just my thoughts.

I'm sure this will be moved until confirmation. (And I do think it is very possible that Nikki could be revealed to be canon--that is, influencing the plot and becoming a direct part of the lg15 team's story-- because of all the coincidences that have come up in her videos.) However, I still cling with hope to the idea that if NikkiBower is indeed a part of the story that she will remain a parallel entity to demonstrate that fan videos don't necessarily have to lead up to inclusion in the plot. Sometimes, it seems implied that fan videos need to be acknowledged by Bree and all. I don’t think this should be the goal for those who submit response videos regularly. I am sure it would be a major strain on the story and writers to try to include people who aren’t in “the business” or located in Southern Cali (like Nikki). Certainly not all viewer response videos try to make an impact on the story, but those who do seem to be setting themselves up for frustration (unless they're OpAphid good). I prefer the friendly mystery of NikkiBower and what she adds to this total viewing experience (although not necessary influencing the plot).

I think she was just borrowing the reference from Bree's video -- that doesn't mean at all that she's canon herself.

Oh, I knew that watermelonhead was kidding, and I grinned at the "love trapezoid" line. I just don't think the reference to "CUSOON" means that she's canon, as some people seemed to believe.
