I figured it out! The 'cult' is actually...
...
I think it's pretty obvious that the 'cult' that Bree was training for is none other than a typical american college sorority.
Think about it:
-brainwashing
-isolation from other friends
-crazy chants and rituals
-big sister(helper)
-extreme dieting
-
All things considered, Bree's initiation is pretty soft compared to what i've heard pledges have to go through!
And clearly, Lucy is one of the sorority sisters-- the big trendy designer sunglasses were a dead give-away.

I think the tattoo thing may be a personal preference. Though there are organizations that require their members to have some specific type of marking somewhere on their body.Beckers wrote:or symbols tatooed on thier hands..kageyuki wrote:Last I heard, sororities (and/or fraternities) didn't "stalk" people...
But what were talking about here are sororities and fraternities....
Sorry to go mildly off-topic.

Just out of curiosity - have you recently went through initiation? The reason why I ask is that people's own experience often color their perceptions. I like you idea. Maybe the Creators are using the cult as an analogy to initiation.watermelonhead wrote:...
