Tachyon's help of Daniel...more to come?

In his most recent video (undisclosed location) Daniel specifically mentions the note Tachyon wrote about following an intelligent idea with a stupid one.
We have nother character directly addressing Tachyon. Now, we see Daniel planing on heading to the warehouse...
Do you suppose that we will hear from Tachyon soon about this decision? Maybe a hint or something about what will be found? Will Tachyon become more involved in the actual story?
Your thoughts?

tach is already a huge part of the op story, which is already a huge part in the LG15 story...so i think automatically tach is already a part.
but yea i think Tachyon will 100% being helping in the sidelines by giving daniel and bree inside advice.
with the new Vm, and Bree's father sounding surprizing a lot like brother, it makes me curious and makes me wonder is tach and brother are some how "related" to bree...
related as in....bree "thinks" that they are relatives of her. But she obviously has no clue about these alter-ego's.

Actually, Daniel was always the one mentioning Tachyon. It was she who told him his car was bugged.

But wouldn't including Tachyon's videos go against what the writers had been saying, that the viewers do not need to watch any of the ARG items to be able to watch and appreciate the series.
Just the fact that Tach's messages are being mentioned breaks this "rule". Just mentioning Tachyon or her videos within the the main plotline plants a seed of curiosity. Right?

Tachyon's interaction with Daniel so far has not broken the rules, since it is making Tachyon an official character in the main series. Anyways, how exactly is Tachyon communicating with Daniel anyways. Is he watching her vids, or is she contacting him in the Breeniverse. Obviously, he couldn't be watching her vids without watching Op's, and I think that it's been confirmed that no one in the series is watching anyone elses, right?

Bree's mentioned other viewers before -- and they've pulled usernames from the forum and/or fanvids and mentioned them "on air".
Just mentioning Tach doesn't mean they're violating a rule; it just means that they're tying up any plotline glimmers that might arise from the crossover.

Encouraging people to watch Tachyon or OpAphid does not break this "rule" (and it isn't even a rule per se it seems).
But REQUIRING them to watch either is what they said they would not do.
By mentioning them and repeating the REQUIRED INFO, you are not required to watch OpAphid or Tachyon.

They're not just mentioning Tachyon, but things she's said or hinted at.
Hearing about her and how she's been 'helping' Daniel, giving him tips and clues. If you'd never heard of her before, wouldn't you want to find out who she is? In doing so kinda 'herds' you to the ARG a bit, doesn't it?
Weren't we all told that the ARGs were not needed in order to 'complete' the series? I know it isn't really a rule, but why say you don't need to watch something, yet lead people to it? Doesn't this somewhat contradict what was originally said about separating the main storyline and the ARG videos?
I guess I worded things wrong.. and maybe I still am... Sorry.

Ohhh!! Now I see! Thanks for clearing this up for me.

OpAphid and Tachyon provide different points of view.
But if you want the LG15 POV you only need watch LG15.
When the story overlaps into the Bree/Daniel/Jonas POV you still get all the relevant details for THEIR story.
But those of us who follow both get a more complete experience with multiple POVs.

Mentioning Tach and making people curious isn't breaking any rules... that's still their own choice, whether or not to at least observe the ARG. Really, this is a pretty easy to keep track of the main points from the sidelines, if someone wants to bother to look for the info, despite people's complaints to the contrary. It's pretty detailed, in my opinion.
People can choose to be perfectly happy with the main vids... since when is making them curious a no-no? And if they're curious, they're quite welcome to check it out. The more the ARG grows, the more chance it will last longer... and the more we can wishful think about drops in other regions, right?

i really like how daniel mentioned one of the drops. makes me think that they are really going to start involving our puzzles more.
But yes...the recap threads are very detailed, as well as the updates on the LGPedie on OpAphid. Everyone is really great about keeping everything up to date as much as possible. So I don't understand why people are complaining this much. People just really need to read the recap threads and the LGPedia.
maybe there should be a disclaimer on the main page or something
(for more information please read the recap threads in OpAphid and the LGpedia - SUbject OpAphid.)

I was just sticking to the LG15 vids because I didn't want to get involved with the ARG, but I ended up wandering over here anyway (and I'm hooked!). I'm always curious and things weren't adding up right. I've read and re-read all of the lgpedia, and I'm still confused about a lot of this. There is a lot of detail out there, but it's all quite disjointed, and honestly...much of it not very well written. Not that I don't appreciate the detail--but it's quite difficult for anyone just popping in to be able to "get it" without hours upon hours of reading, listening and viewing.
Part of my annoyance is because I've spent so much time reading literature and editing documents. (Don't judge me by my online posts...I'm lazy on forums...things just come out stream of conciousness-like...and I'm a terrible typist. Good speller, terrible typer. I hate proofreading my forum posts.)
As I've gone along in learning about the lg15 saga as well as the ARG, I've kept my own notes and had planned on writing it all out in a story/synopisis that could be read without jumping about the lgpedia. It's not easy, so that's why I understand the disjointedness of the lgpedia. It's just annoying as a newcomer and frustrating, since the Creators want people to jump in and participate, yet it's near impossible to do that. Pointing people to recaps threads is difficult because it's hard to know where to start.

Agreed and I'm sorry. The Aphidpedia has always been a "o_0 how the hell did you get that answer?" more than a "welcome to the world of Harry Potter" and we need both. I, however, suck at narrative so I haven't written a story form out. There is a story version in the megaFAQ by romanceismusic. Wish I could do more but my recaps always tilt to detail since I'm in psychology. >_<

Yeah...the info is all there....and the details are around...it's just the piecing it together can be tough.
