Pal's, Powell's, oops!

The "Drycleaners" number Bree dialed in "Bree Phone Home."

And it's an answering machine for Pal's Dry Cleaners. It's actually really weird. Dress shirts have an 8-9 day turnaround???? WTF?? The message says:
Hello, and thank you for calling Powell's Dry Cleaners. We are open seven days a week from 9am until 5pm. Our current specials are as follows: Dress Shirts...three for five dollars, with an eight to nine day turnaround time. We also offer rush service at a rate of of three shirts for twelve dollars. Please leave a message after the tone and we'll get back you as soon as possible. Thank you.

To get the alternate phone number. Use the numbers mentioned in the voicemail and reverse.

You get: 7953589312
Reversed: (213) 985-3597

A voicemail from Bree's dad! He says:
"Bree, it's your father. If you're listening to this message, you managed to crack my code. Your mother and I are safe, and I need to talk to you alone. Confirm that you got this by sending me a secret message back. I'll meet you one week after that at the place where we used to talk about Feynman [or Simon?] and Jared Diamond. I know you're confused right now, but all will make sense once we talk. I'll see you soon, sweetie."
So spooky!

Thanks for posting these, Twelfth.

I think you got one word wrong: instead of "Simon" in Bree's dad's message, I heard "Feynman" -- the name of a scientist Bree discussed in her earliest vids.

Take another listen and see what you think.

Wow. Listened to both...(great work posting, BTW)...only other comment I can make is: dear old Dad seems overly calm in that recording. Talk about monotone!
