what day is thanks given?

is it the same as sitcoms where they all sit round a table and act all soppy and are like " *teary eyed* i'm so thankful for my family because i love them soo much

Yep. In America, tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and we eat far too much food, watch a parade on TV, then sit around digesting and watching football. It's the best holiday ever!

Yup, that's basically it. Oh and the day after, if you try to drive anywhere, you will probably either die in a car crash, or die of old age because of how much traffic there is. I hate holiday sales. They hurt.
