[Mini-Puzzle] OpAphid and Chessboard in "Pen-Pals"

I spot way too many references in these to not re-post it in its own thread!
My mind is still blurry from the voicemail puzzle, but this looks like its own light challenge to decode. And allegedly the hints are there for solving Brother/10033's last anagram.
Shall we pick this apart from what Op said?

I posted this in the original thread with Chess' emails, the "I have a ball, perhaps you'd like to bounce it?" is a reference to the Simpsons, the character Alisons father, says this to Lisa, while she tries to make an anagram for Jeremy Irons. This is the first episode where Lisa meets Alison and she tries to sabotage Alisons diorama of the "tell-tale heart" by Poe.
Edit : actually, that whole quote, everything she says "well, thats very good, for a first try, you know what? i have a ball. perhaps you'd like to bounce it" is the entire original quote, sorry i only posted the last half.

...and someone in the chat (DTayl) said "this ruined puzzle" is a dashboard confessional song.
It just gets more and more emo as we go along...
*edit* Duh, post the lyrics lol...
Dashboard Confessional
This Ruined Puzzle
This ruined puzzle is beige with the pieces all face down
so the placing goes slowly.
The pictures of anything other than it's meant to be.
But the hours they creep,
the patterns repeat.
Don't be concerned, you know I'll be fine on my own.
I never said "don't go".
I've written a note,
it's pressed between pages
that you've marked to find your way back.
It says "Does he ever get the girl?"
But what if the pages stay pressed,
the chapters unfinished,
the stories too dull to unfold?
Does he ever get the girl?
This basement's a coffin
I'm buried alive.
I'll die in here just to be safe.
I'll die in here just to be safe.
'Cause you're gone
I get nothing
and you're off with barely a sigh.
I never said "Good-bye"
Does he ever get the girl?

So that was Op telling Chess like "hey, you totally are failing at this anagram game. Go play with this ball."
Now that is funny. Or am I totally misreading it?
So the clues are in the messages before that.

Wait. So if its a Dashboard song. The Dashboard song is a hint about the anagram?

Office-mate got this one.
Jibba-jabba was what Mr. T always said:
"I got no time for the jibba-jabba"
Remember when he "pitied the fool?" Well, fools spoke "jibba jabba."

Thanks to Killthesmiley
Edit:
http://www.snpp.com/episodes/1F17.html
Alison: It's great of you to come over, Lisa. I really want us to be
friends.
Lisa: You're a wonderful person.
Taylor: Hi, Lisa, I'm Alison's father, Professor Taylor. I've heard
great things about you.
Lisa: Oh, really? I --
Taylor: Oh, don't be modest. I'm glad we have someone who can join us
in our anagram game.
Alison: We take proper names and rearrange the letters to form a
description of that person.
Taylor: Like, er...oh, I don't know, uh...Alec Guinness.
Alison: [thinks] Genuine class.
Taylor: Ho ho, very good. All right, Lisa, um...Jeremy Irons.
Lisa: [looks with consternation] Jeremy's...iron.
Taylor: Mm hmm, well that's...very good...for a first try. You know
what? I have a ball. [pulls one from his pocket] Perhaps you'd
like to bounce it?

Ok. This part is bugging me.
What movie was Timothy Hutton in with Laura Flin-Boyle that OpAphid is referencing up there? Wig? Dress?
Is Brother really Tachyon and this is gonna be like that movie Sleepaway Camp?

They were in a movie together called the Temp :
A cookie company takeover has employees scrambling to make a case for continued employment. An executive's administrative assistant takes paternity leave, and he gets a temp who is too good to be true, doing tasks at a fast pace and doing quite a bit of creative work for the project. The executive starts noticing that all the obstacles to his climb up the corporate ladder are disappearing, including the death of some of his rivals. When his regular admin returns to work, his temp, who has made it clear that she wishes to stay with him, begins her own accelerated climb up the ladder, and he begins wondering if she was responsible for the removal of the obstacles.

How does the wig and dress work into it? Did Timothy Hutton do it to frame Laura Flin-Boyle by wearing a wig and a dress?
