(for Creators) Why NOT go corporate?

I saw you guys being interviewed on Forbes, and read a few posts on here...you guys seem pretty adamant about not going corporate....and it seems that this means you guys are pretty MUCH out of money.
That is really honorable, and I respect that.
I understand that when you enlist a corporate sponser, sometimes they FORCE you to make your show a certain way...or to target particular audiences...all in all...it sucks the creativity dry, and ruins Quality Art.
But mang, I hate to hear that you guys are running out of money...especially when you have SUCH a good show going.
Honestly, I think you guys SHOULD go corporate...just find someone to sponser you who gives you full creative liscense....I'm SURE there's someone out there like that.
I wouldn't even mind seeing a little "sponsered by _________" on the website; I could deal. I wouldn't even mind some OVERLY obvious/comedic product placement....(ala Waynes World).
I just feel bad when someone puts out a good thing into the world....and gets no benefit whatsoever from it....and literally ends up broke.
I second that!

I think the storyline and creative juices would probably be too regulated...and suddenly Daniel and Bree would be holding their drinks, label facing the camera...etc...

Song credits would roll by at the bottom of the screen....

Curriguy..Great Post...a simpler yet more unrealistic solution would be for EVERYONE to click the little ads on revver at the end. As someone that posted videos on revver because they were curious what the rate was and what the creators were making..I can tell you based on my personal experience..even assuming their click rate percentage is 20 times what mine is...they are making about 600 bucks a video..barring some other deal they have cut. That doesnt go real far let me tell ya...
If EVERYONE that watched on Revver clicked they might make about 3 grand a video. They could survive at that point in my opinion..they wouldnt get rich..but they could keep things rolling...
Ultimately..you are right..they need sponsors..someone like say Bluebell ice cream and they start eating ice cream in every video or something...

In the wired article it says they rake in over $10,000 a month from the revver ads....

Maybe so...10 grand is a JOKE..that's really not even that great for one person living in L.A.
they have to pay 2 full time actors...and who knows how many others..support staff..expenses..
They all live in LA
then there are 3 creators..I'd say my estimate was probably pretty close. and they are going broke.
It has occurred to me that this is why the vid frequency has gone up.
