Same here. I bet the topics that stay orange are part of some complex Braille code....

I've had to reset some cookie information in order to fix the login problem. This might clear itself out if you logout and then back in again. You might need to clear your browser's cache too.

Yeah, PHPBB is dodgy like that sometimes. Generally speaking, it's a really solid forum, and its really good for handling heavy loads of traffic, such as all of the post-monkeys here.
Not that anyone will be really interested, but if you look on the phpbb site, I'm pretty sure they have a faq with common problems that they have.
