This tutorial uses
Audacity, which is available for Mac, Windows, and Linux. New users should always download the
stable version.
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/
1. Open Audacity, after installing it
2. Choose input: Stereo Mix
3. Press record
4. Press play on video
5. Press stop when done recording
6. Highlight by dragging the mouse across a section of the audio.
7. Choose Effect > Reverse from the menu
8. File > Export Selection As MP3.
Done! I hope this helps everyone share in the fun.

Isn't this a CiW trick. I haven't noticed any back sampled work in any official videos - LonesomeOctober employed this trick, but he turned out to be a fan.
The official Vids so far messed around with speeding footage up.

Yep, but it's helpful, I imagine, for ARGs in general (opaphid, etc). And you never know when Bree and Daniel may have to send a coded message!

THanks

Excellent! Great tool to have in your arsenal of "weapons" for the ARG bits.
Thanks for the info!

Didn't know Audacity would ever be needed for me when I downloaded it. I used to just use it to make songs sound like they're being sung by chipmunks, lol.

I've got audacity. But I don't know where to find the Stereo Mix (I've found the drop-down list circled, but it won't play for me).
...
Help?

I downloaded the stable version instead to see if that would make a difference but it doesn't.
I'm really confused.
