Video Area is not for Plot discussion

Could we keep the Video area discussion just on the videos as they are and not "What if...." and "Maybe they're going in this direction...". I don't have a lot of time to go through tons of posts that should be in the Plot discussion area. I just want to read research done on the video itself and look at screenshots for clues.

How can you discuss the videos without discussing the plot? The plot is in the videos. What are we supposed to discuss? "Oh, nice lighting here. Oh look, Bree raised her eyebrows!"
There's far more substantial and related discussion of what's actually going on in the video threads than in the plot discussion, which has evolved into some fairly wild theories.

Look for clues in the videos. If you see/hear something that you think is important, post a screenshot or google it then come back with information. No "Oh, wouldn't it be cool if....". Not everyone has extra time to search through chatty posts for actual information about the videos, including me....although that dog picture in the latest Daniel video discussion area was hilarious!

Sorry, man, but every post is going to get bogged down in chattiness, regardless of where it is. Makes more sense to discuss it where it actually happens than in a completely different area.

Well then I'm sorry again.
Sometimes it helps to start a new thread (like in the Plot Discussion area) about a particular area of discussion, then go to the video thread and post a link to it and suggest we discuss it there. That's the best way to get people to discuss something in what may be a more appropriate place...

Yep, agreed. I'm just impatient and should probably do my own research if I want answers.

LOL, don't worry -- everyone knows that I am NOT SHY about splitting topics. So far everything is staying pretty much on topic in the video threads, but Broken Kid has a very good point:
If someone mentions a tangent that you (uhm, the plural you, I guess) want to really explore in detail, you'll probably get a lot richer discussion by creating a topic in Plot Discussion.

"Man" was originally an asexual noun.

Now you're saying she's asexual?

I wasn't sure if you thought I was a man since not many "girls" skydive so I wanted to clarify....but enough of that so I'm not a hypocrite since my whole point was to stay on topic and not to be chatty.

Wow.
I should also point out (because it is
insanely off topic and that's my forte) that many people refer to groups of people that include women) as "dudes" or "guys". Well, not usually dudes--unless you're a surfer--which is also stereotypical.

You're absolutely right. I've said "Hey guys, come watch this idiot jump in 40 mph winds!" and I'm talking to everyone.
Anyhoooo....just saw the new vid....gotta get updated in the Video area.
Yippeee!

I was wrong! I found myself in the thread on the latest video and wanted to post comments/opinons/responses but couldn't because of my complaint here so my apologies to the chatty people....post away!
