Ok..since folks are taking over my LEG OFF thread with things other than legs..they seem to be scared to make new threads that are dedicated to what they are interested in. As the title says... THIS thread is dedicated to INK Based body art of all sorts. IF your Tattoo is on a part that is not PG rated.. Save it for private. Getting too risque could shut the whole thing down..so keep that in mind..If you have piercings..I am going to make a thread for that.. Happy posting.

No tattoos to post here. I simply wanted to voice my extreme joy at the title of this thread. That's hilarious.

I'm gutted I can't join in on the leg thread, due my ghastly white and overly muscular pins...
but yay to this one :-) Although my ink and holes are bogstandard and boring, I may as well post. Apologies for the quality, only have my camera phone on me at the moment!

Only one Tattoo (on the left of my body, on my ribcage, just below bra-line..)

alexisme:

not reaaaaaaaallllllllly, i was really into astronomy when I was little. Stars were the only thing that I've loved for as long as I can remember, and I wanted to get something that I would never ever regret. As for the number of stars, I've had a really close group of girlfriends, five including myself, since I moved to the States, so it felt like a fitting number. I had a friend help me work out the design.

How bout you, any interesting tattoos?

Aw i love your stars! And great that they have significance too. And love the odd placement, a bit quirky :-) People always get confused when I show them my ribcage..

Any more tattoos??

So many of us girls with stars! :D

I posted mine on the other thread.... and I think I overthought while planning them, because everything, from the color to the position of each start, has a meaning....

They represent me and my 3 best friends, but if I was to explain why one is closed to another and is pink and all that... it would take me all day!

I'll have to get some pics done of mine to share. The one on the ankle is going to be hard, since it's a band of latin...
Love the stars, I thought about getting some, and just might when/if I get any more (it's wierd how addictive it is!)
So far I have two, the latin writing with a lotus flower (translated to "Faith Seeking Understanding" which sounds like a personal ad 8) ) and an angel on my hip with her knees pulled up to her chest, arms folded and head on her knees.
It's a big debate with people who see it what she's doing. The theories so far are that she's my guardian angel who's sleeping because I don't do any bad things, that she's crying, and that she's relaxing. Once I get pics up you guys can give me your interpretations (I think it's a sign of who you are what you think she's doing! Because I can't imagine seeing it as anything other than her just resting!)

I need a pic of mine...but it also needs retouched. I have a lizard on my leg. I want a triquetra in the small of my back, may get that one done before the retouch.

30h left on back, still have to get 'væita bana sœmd' in Old Norse (Anglo-Saxon Furthark runes not Eldar) which means "To bring death honor!". Then behind the sword will be a full moon (green tinge to it), in the bottom left will be a barbarian with an axe in full swing, and the bottom right will be a knight in armor non-mounted in a 50/50 stance (agressive yet deffencive...if you don't know what this is about learn then something about fighting). 75% of my body will be covered in tattoos by the time I am 25.
