I'm not quite sure how to upload a picture for my avatar, and all the little thing-y under "Avatar control panel" is a box for a link to an off-site avatar link. I'm not quite sure what it means. Is this web-site not capable of uploading from iPhoto or other programs like that?

You can use free upload sites (that do not require registration) like:

http://www.tinypic.com

One other place to post picks for sharing on other sites is:

www.photobucket.com

That's what I use.

Mmmm...iMe gusta photobucket! (I'm not sure what's up with the Spanglish today. I think my high school and college Spanish classes are coming back to haunt me).

Grr...I am jealous of the winking avatar... Whenever I try to wink intentionally, it looks like I have something in my eye. :? Talk about cute...psh.

 I think I've met my twin! I cannot snap or wink at all. If I'm lucky, I can get a few "notes" out whistling, but nothing recognizable.

yeah, same here. it sucks, because whenever i attempt whistling, someone around automatically thinks some kind of alarm has gone off. when i do get a few notes out, they sound really loud and really annoying, so i have basically given up. all my friends think it's funny, because i'm pretty good at playing the flute, but i'm practically physically challenged when it comes to whistling.

Oh my gosh, you do not play the flute!! :D I played the flute and piccolo in high school! Wow.

Before you start speculating that it's a flute thing... so did I, and I'm sitting here whistling, cuz I'm enjoying the fact that I can! (Old MacDonald for some reason is the favorite choice for whistling...)
