Ok this is random but here goes:

Do you think The Creators have planned the whole thing to the end? Or they're kinda making it all up as they go? I think maybe they're kinda stuck plot-wise now but maybe that's what they want us to think so they can shock us with some huge well-planned twist soon?

I don't think any of it is connected and I don't think there's any end in sight.

I think they have an outline of what they want and where they want the story to go, but there are enough gaps in this outline to change things the way we are thinking.

yeah i dont think they plan very far in advance, but i think they said they had a pretty good direction for this summer

i'm just gonna take it as it is.
they've already said there are going to be huge plot twists and big plans so...

i'm thinking they've got it planned. maybe not all the way to the end, but they've got a plan at least.

they also have said if we tell the characters to do something they will.

so part of it is based on us and part of it is based on what they have

That's what they've told us, but it doesn't happen very often.

I think they did have an idea but now it's morphed into something huge and crazy.. so they're just winging it

I agree, apart from mentionning the forum the story doesn't really seem to go a different way because of us. Ofcourse they could have changed a thing or to after reading our posts, but it's not that much.

I've ran a game for sometime in wich players were able te effect the storyline. The thing is, you don't want them to overtake the storyline, so you end up doing what you wanted in the first place and mention some names that could go with what you've already planned. I think that's what's happening here aswell.
