Opening message cipher:
Cmywfq R atbv.
Zvxy krv hefh roz xgclw? Kefh'j jcfsu fq vbws?
Yrk'p yvrw fbqokhr qt Yrws J?
de-vigenere with key: oxford
Option D done.
What was that all about? What's going on here?
How's that related to Kate M?
Closing message audio (morse code and reversed computer text-to-speech):
Code: Select all
--- .--. . .-. .- - .. ...- . -.-. .- .. -.
= OPERATIVECAIN
On the reverse text-to-speech I hear:
Something is wrong. We sent you assitance ASP.
Almost sure, but it would make more sense if it had said "Something is wrong. We
need your assitance ASP."

Is that San Francisco I see?
This is best picture I could get of the code on the computer screen:
I think it reads:
75628 28591 62916 48164 91748 58464 74748 28483 81638 18174
74826 26475 83828 49175 74658 37575 75936 36565 81638 17585
75756 46282 92857 46382 75748 38165 81845 56486 84858 56382
72628 36281 81728 16463 75828 16483 63828 58163 63630 47481
91918 46385 84656 48565 62946 26285 91859 17491 72758 46575
71658 36264 74818 28462 82649 18183 85626 48484 91838 57491
81657 27483 83868 28364 82726 28582 63769 27263 82827 27283
82858 47582 81837 28462 82837 58164 75748 58162 92000
I could definitely have some mistakes in there so someone please check me!

Found this link in the wiki....
http://www.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D%27Agapeyeff_cipher
Don't know why the link isn't working right, but the gist i get of it is that we are not going to crack this code, maybe this is what was meant by he has a great sense of humor?
Edit: Fixed link thanks deagol

Ah great. I spent 2 hours putting those digits in pairs and seeing a frequency distribution similar to english.
To fix the link substitute the apostrophe with %27 as I did above.

In the video, see:
Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco
PC motherboard, sticker "Made In China"
("that computer had as much memory of it's past as I do")
"back to the city"
bus stop, PCL truck
London, marching soldiers, UK flags
Graffiti/Art image of wall with the figure of a man (I don't recognize him, but he might be someone famous). He looks a little like Jim Morrison of The Doors to me. There is another partial face to the viewer's left on the wall, but not much there to identify.
elevator, fade to white
"then came the bad news"
(morse and reverse audio decoded earlier)
