LG15 will not let me login on to the chat room, it says that I have to register (which I have) , and when I try it says that my email has already be used. Has anyone else had this problem???

You should access the chatroom from the main page at
www.lonelygirl15.com. Not lonelygirl15.com! Not from the forum or the Lgpedia link. Just go to the main page.
If you access the chat and close out, you must close your browser window. To access the chat again, re-open the browser (or new tab), go back to
www.lonelygirl15.com, and click chat again. If you get the "Already registered" or similar message, you need to close your browser window and load it again before re-entering chat.
To access the chat, make sure you have cookies enabled and popups are not blocked.
Let me know if that fixes it!

Are you using FireFox?
I do, and I can't get into the chat either. Doing what BK says doesn't work.
I opened up IE and went in that way, and the chat loaded right up...

I couldn't get it to work at first either...I had to register on the home page for an account in order to log into chat...this is different from your forum log in! Luckily I was able to use to same sn for both accounts... I don't remember if I used the same email, I have to many to count!

I have the same problem..I'm registered for the main site, but it keeps giving me the
"Authorization Error. Please Register to enter the chat." in firefox when it doesn't just not load totally.
though i have tried with IE and firefox and firefox says it connects to the chat, but it doesn't do anything, so i end up staring at a blank box, even after a flash/java update..
IE just crashes, and I'm running the latest updated version for that to...

its kinda a shame really that we are not being able to use the services of the site to the fullest...
i am thinking i want to give up until the chat program is completely redone, my latest attempts have not only crashed my browsers, but my computer as well... virus/malware/spy ware scans where done and turned up nothing...

if you guys really want to chat, try the irc chat room at
http://java.freenode.com (or org or net ... can't remember)
then type in your username in that field, then type in #hymnofone in the channelfield

I'm not very good with these chat applications and don't know if this helps in any feasible way...but when I can't get into the chat, I delete cookies / clear my cache, re-log in (via IE - definitely not through AOL), and sometimes it works. If this doesn't work, I'd suggest the mIRC that Kelly brought up or, hopefully, someone with the knowledge you seek will appear. Sorry.
