It's been ten days since Bree took off. What do you think are the chances of her survival?

About as likely as having a cell phone that can post videos to Youtube and Revver, but cannot make a phonecall :).

Okay. Bree seems resourceful, in my opinion. [think videos circa july/aug. of last year. Cave woman? hehe]

I'm kinda hoping a combination of her being close to death/TAAG finding her. :D

If she hasn't been found already, I'd think she should be dead or close to it by now. Even with a few PowerBars left the other day, she should still be weak and probably dehydrated unless she found a healthy spring (unlikely), not to mention sunburned during the day and potentially sick from being cold at night.

I mostly agree, but she does have that hoodie, which I do not think will do much at night, but it will keep her covered during the day. The only problem is that even though it did not look too thick, it still might be too hot for day wear.

And oh yeah, as of now, I am surprised on how even the votes are right now.

well daniel said that they heard helicoptors so that might be them picking her up. in that case she would be "safe" and not in the woods anymore

I think the fact that 2 helicopters were sent might mean they are just looking for her. Why would they send two, if they were just coming to pick her up?

If she has not been rescued over the weekend she should be at deaths door or dead by now. She just does not strike me as having wilderness survival skills.

Very even votes at the moment, it only seems people don't really think she saved by DJS... I too think that's unlikely. The most realistic thing would be that she's very VERY close to dead.

Seriously, it's not that big a deal to be lost in the woods in California. Water is abundant. There are streams everywhere. So if she is enough of a survivalist to know how to drink water when she's thirsty, she won't be dehydrated. People can survive quite a long time on just water. The worst that might happen is she would end up with a case of giardia, and lose some weight.

It's good to keep an eye out for rattlesnakes, mountain lions and bears - but really, there are very few attacks by those animals, so honestly, that's not a huge concern. Also, there is very little if any true wilderness in California - especially anywhere near cabins and recreational lakes. It is more likely that Bree will run across other hikers and campers than it is that she would be attacked by any of the animals I mentioned.

Much ado about nothing.

If she didn't do much activity, found running water, and brought like 30 powerbars I am sure she would survive 10 days no problem. She could avoid exposure since she's wearing a hood and pants I assume, and if Tacy taught her how to fashion a twig and leaves shelter she could be doing even better.

But she'd be losing weight. even 3 powerbars a day isn't enough calories for bree.

where did these powerbars come from? Like didn't daniel and jonas notice they had them and notice they went missing? I don't know, the whole thing seems odd.

I was gonna say that's it's possible that Sarah (aka Doctor Doolittle) sent the squirrels to take Bree to the nearest Motel 6 (we'll leave the light on for you). After all, the animals know that terrain better than any human. Or maybe a guy in a Hawaiian shirt toting a .22 will show up to put her out of her misery.

On a serious note - "Will Bree Survive?" and what will it mean to the series?

I think the HoO probably picked her up even before she uploaded the video. Maybe she's even at home by now.

How great would a video from Bree's bedroom be? I might cry out of pure nostalgia.
