i once wanted to be jonas
but it turned out to be a mistake
i did not want to go through all of the fuss
but his birthday was coming up and i wanted the cake

now i think i want to be bree
her life has many turns
but a life that is not exactly free
i think it would cause, in my life, many burns

so i guess i'll stick with daniel
he's not had it that bad
but with his drinking problem
life would be sad

alas, i think i'll be nikki b
she's cute and can inform so well
yes i want to be nikki b...that is my plea
life then would be swell!!!

a perfect life would be so easy
easy as if your were smoking a pack of cigarettes

a perfect life would smell so wonderful
as smelly as a bunch of cigarettes left in a dirty ashtray

a perfect life would look like a beautiful sunset
about as beautiful as a garbage can that the garbage truck passed by on accident

a perfect life exists
about as much as my perfect life exists...
