Top 10 Techniques For Bringing A Loved One Back After an NRM

If Daniel and Jonas must De-Program Bree...here are some tips I have found helpful:
1. Round the clock watch over her.
2. Do not physically force her to do anything else.
3. Give her lots of water.
4. Start a normal diet with the regular food groups.
5. Let her talk, or not talk. But, do not force your words upon her.
6. Tough love is always best, but do not "smother" her with words or restraint.
7. Do not mention her being "brainwashed"/she may shut down on you. (Say the least amount you can about the HoO.)
8. She needs nurturing. So, be gentle.
9. She may refuse to eat, that is OK. Try "ensure" drinks, for nutrients.
10. If she starts to come around a little, if too much is pushed upon her in excitement, she is starting to see things clearly, she could go right back into denial.
Do you disagree? Agree? Tell me why?
Is there anyone else who has some familiarity with De-Programming? Or anyone with an opinion?
(Renamed to reflect what I have given to Daniel in Beast Chat!)

What you say sounds about right. But in this case specifically, give her a chance to talk and listen to what she has to say. Maybe there was a big plan involved and you wouldn't want to ruin that. Plus whatever she has to say can tell us more about the HoO.
Give her some time and space to recover from all of this, and remind her that you are her friends. And that you want to help her, over and over again. Because that's what she really needs to know.

I don't know anything about deprogramming, and the info was interesting, and sounds right. Thanks, S.A.R.A.H.

Yes, let her talk when she is ready!

I did already!
In Marbella's "Try showing Bree the contents of the box" post to Daniel. I posted for Daniel to contact me if he needed help, then saw Marbella's post. So, I decided to post the actions in Marbella's post. I am concerned for Bree's current possible state of mind. I also wrote more than my top 10 steps to deprogramming. I do want to note, I do not think showing Bree the box is a BAD idea, just that it shouldn't be done too soon.
(Creators, are you reading this? LOL)
Thanks Betz!

One thing that worries me is that Bree might have been given some mind altering drugs, to make her calmer, or something. That might not be so good for her.

That is the why water and nutrients are so important!
If Daniel and Jonas knew what kind of drugs were used, they can research the drug for side effects and withdrawal symptoms.
Good point, bringing up the possibility of a drug used! (The bandage on the arm
was very noticeable in the Bree-fo-mercials)

Thank you, Juli. I will!
(However, it might take me some time to de-program myself from calling you longlostposter.)
OK, OK, bad joke!
You can just call me SARAH, if that helps, too.

OK, I don't know if anyone reads Sarah's blogs, but she has confirmed they are at "a cabin" and that she is giving Jonas and Daniel time with Bree.
I also got a private confirmation from her as well. I have encouraged her to tell Daniel about my suggestions. We shall see!
Here is her blog from today!

i agree with everything here.
Daniel knows her; if he remembers the times when she's told him secrets and stuff, he can remember her little "tells"; when she's actually angry, scared, lying, etc.
You know how, after a big horrible ordeal, only after it's over do you cry? I think it has to do with feeling like your in a safe place. Perhaps if they let Bree know things are safe, she can let go and tell her friends the truth.
