So we're reading The Chrysalides in English class. I'm only on page 34 so bare with me if I don't know everything about this book.

I was reading and there was talk of the main characters father killing all deviations.

When they kill them, they "Sing a Hymn" (actual quote, no joke) and the CEREMONY proceeds.

I just thought it was cool.
Not that it's important to the storyline.

Maybe they will sacrifice Bree.

The Chrysalids is one of my favourite books, near the end of the book there is talk of a place called "New Sealand" aka New Zealand!

It's such an amazing book if you look at everything for what it is.

the steam engine, the old over passes, new Zealand..... it's just great in it's entirety.

Goddamnit, I read a summary on it, and I realized I might actually have wanted to read it.

Oh well, I guess there is one thing I can do to fix that.
