Arrrrrrrgh...[Windows Movie Maker]

Right, does anyone here use Windows Movie Maker?

If yes, how do you convert the files so they are uploadable to YouTube?

I'm really stuck on this. No file convertor I've used thus far has been able to recognise '.MSWMM' which is the only available option when saving.

It's really, really annoying.

Help, please? :?

EDIT: Infact, if anyone could give me any links to free downloadable video editors, then I would be eternally grateful.

LOL

Sorry, silly mistake, and I hope I can explain this well to you. When you are done with your video you save it correct? Then you try to upload it to YouTube?

That is not the way to do it. What you are doing is saving the PROJECT, which is the file that allows you to edit in WMM, but not the actual video itself.

What you need to do is look to the left. There is an option 3. that is "save to my computer", or something to that effect. When you do this you'll save your project as a .wmv file that you can upload to YouTube.

Let me know if I explained anything poorly.

Haha don't be embarrassed! ;)

I'm glad my hours upon hours of messing around with that program could help someone out! :D

Haha. Well the new YouTube account I made for myself has had 2 subscribers since I uploaded around 20 minutes ago.

It must be normal.
