Well, I am a bleeding heart liberal, but I'll try to keep it off the board...

You should never talk about politics or religion on a date!

Apo.. let's not go there.. politics and religion should really stay out, I think..

I'm moderate. I have friends that are ultra-right wing and ultra-left wing.. I love them both.. but I know how yucky things get if we discuss them in a forum..

ooooh...in Reading? I know some of the archaeology faculty there.
Nah, at Warwick. Didn't fancy going to uni too close to home....
Well, I am still happy to hear that you fancy ancient history!

Yeah it was a decent course on the whole. Did it for A-level and GCSE as well (not that that would mean much to you probably!!).

We even dug a few holes and looked for old stuff....

... I've even wanted to take my extremist friends out to lunch.. hoping they won't discuss politics and storm out.. but I think it's too much for them to handle.

I started eating meat again, but I still take ELEVEN nutritional supplements and drink tea with goji berries, etc. I have one friend that is a Tibetan Buddhist who wants to impeach Bush and another that worships the Bushes and loves everything about the Iraq war.

I just love my friends. I don't care what they believe. I don't argue with them, either!

and for Apo.. I will say, "Apo, you make me feel so much better with your genuine affection for me!"

Hey, that felt good!!!

Well Apo.. I need to be .. uh..how do I say it.. as diplomatic as possible, as ambassador. Maybe later I will PM you of my views!!

Jamesy.. your dig sounds fascinating and I'd love to learn more about what you found. I minored in anthropology. I didn't get to do anything fun but read Levy-Strauss ad infinitum.

A level = like a university entrance exam, SAT type thing

GCSE = qualifying exam like AP exams or Achievements, right?
